Delicious French bread (and butter) always ready in your kitchen.

There is nothing that beats good French bread. For me, part of the holiday experience in France, is getting up early to buy a baguette for breakfast, still warm from the oven. Then eating it with pale creamy French butter and some apricot jam.

But finding good French bread in the UK is a hit and miss affair. It also often means an extra shopping trip to get it. So when I found a pack of frozen French baguettes at Waitrose I thought what a good idea to always have French bread ready in the freezer. You simply cook the frozen baguette for 8-10 minutes on a baking tray in the oven and voilà – French bread, still warm from the oven! And while you are in Waitrose, buy the Beurre d’Isigny Doux from Normandy (or the unpasteurised Beurre Cru if you like salt crystals in your butter), to eat with it and you will think you are in France

Conclusion:
It’s like having a French boulangerie next door.
